| Company Purpose |
TriVirix
International helps small and medium sized medical device companies
launch, manufacture, and support their products.
Alliance
Manufacturing is TriVirix’ approach to ensuring that we are true
partners in our customer’s business success. The unique elements
of the service delivery include a pricing model that aligns our incentives
for cost reduction; sharing of all production, quality, and cost
information; and superior application of leading information technology.

| Areas of Expertise

|
At
TriVirix International, we understand that choosing a manufacturing partner
is one of the most difficult and critical decisions our customers have to
make. That’s why we work hard to provide comfort to you that we will
take as much care designing, manufacturing, and servicing your product as
you would. Our business philosophy is to provide you with as much
comfort working with our facilities in Ireland and North Carolina as you
would have working with a factory in your own building or right across the
street.
Transition
to Production: Innovative project management to minimize time to
market.
Manufacturing:
Low-cost assembly, resulting from a combination of value engineering,
superior supply chain management, and rigorous quality control.
Post-manufacturing
services: IT-enabled order fulfillment, distribution support, and
product servicing.
Because of our unique manufacturing capabilities, our customers have been
able to redirect valuable resources of time, energy, and capital into other
vital areas like innovation and sales.

| 1999 Revenue |
TriVirix
International, a medical device manufacturer headquartered in Chapel Hill,
N.C., has closed on $3.5 million from five investment firms, including two
in Northern Ireland, home of the company's manufacturing facility. We can
make anything," West said, who added that TriVirix expects $5 million
in revenues this year and "10 times that next year. |
| Performance History |
We
prefer to build relationships the old-fashioned way-- through mutual
trust, high ethical standards, and integrity in every decision that we
make on your behalf. Those principles are a driving force in the
kinds of people we hire and the way we do work with our customers.
Our
customers need legally binding contractual protection. So we've
written a standard Manufacturing and Services Agreement from the
customer's perspective.
That
means our contract contains:
-
Complete
confidentiality
-
Intellectual
property protection. If you invent it or develop it, you keep
it. If we invent it or develop it, you keep the intellectual
property as well. Our business is helping companies that
innovate medical devices; it's not competing against them.
-
Generous
warranty coverage
|
| Competitive Standards

|
Trivirix'
aim is to put in place systems to ensure that we act as our customer's
manufacturing department. That means we offer:
-
Open
Book Accounting so you know the exact cost of the device we are
bulding. Plus our pricing model provides Trivirix incentive to find
cost reductions to share with you.
-
Real
Time Information Sharing via Alliance Net. AllianceNet is a
proprietary Web portal we provide to our customers. It lets our
customers monitor, online and in real-time, every piece of the
production process, from our openm book accounting and cost-sharing
system through assemble, testing, and inventory.
-
In
addition, we are leaders in use of information technology. Our
business is powered by SAP, the IT oplatform preferred by most Fortune
500 companies.
-
Our
manufacturing location in Ireland provides US customers a launching
pad into Europe, and our European customers a launching pad in the US.
For US companies selling in the US, the savings from having our
manufacturing location overseas far outweighs any extra expense from
shipping costs.
|
| Quality |
We
believe that our quality systems, standards, and policies exceed the
expectations of our customers. Due to our economies of scale, and
our singular focus on the medical device industry, we are able to build a
quality system that in many cases exceeds a quality system that our
customer can build with their own internal resources.

| Production Facilities |
TriVirix
18,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Belfast, Northern Ireland, is
ISO 9002 and EN46002 certified and FDA registered. This being a global
company with 15 employees is a real challenge," said West, a Duke
University-trained engineer, who'd never been to Ireland before he oversaw
construction of a $4 million, 15,000-square-foot manufacturing plant in
Belfast.
