SIMCO Electronics was formed in 1962 with a
dedication to customer service, technical superiority, quality of work and
fast service. Calibration and repair of precision measurement and test
equipment is our primary business. SIMCO has expanded in recent years to
become the largest provider of commercial calibration service in the
United States with locations coast to coast. SIMCO operates twenty-four
hours a day, five days a week, maximizing our ability to respond to
customers quickly.

SIMCO’s calibration and repair
capabilities for measuring and test equipment include virtually all
types of electronic, electrical, dimensional, mechanical, physical
and radiation parameters. Equipment types serviced range from simple
analog devices to state-of-the-art microprocessor-managed
instruments. SIMCO processes over 300,000 instruments per year.
Calibrations performed are traceable to the National Institute of
Standards and Technology, and conform to the requirements of
MIL-STD-45662A, ANSI/NCSL Z540-1, and ISO 9002.
In addition to ISO 9002
certification by KEMA, SIMCO has received accreditation to ISO Guide
25 by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) for DC and Low
Frequency in the primary standards laboratory. ISO Guide 25 is the
qualification required of all service laboratories in the common
market which support ISO 9000-qualified manufacturers. In addition
to an evaluation of SIMCO's quality programs, the UKAS accreditation
process included proficiency testing to prove competence in making
measurements at the level required for a standards laboratory. |
