Assembly Automation
Adept's semi-automatic and fully-automatic electronic assembly and wire
harness assembly systems feature off-the-shelf, modular tool options and
the most advanced flexible technologies. These unique patented solutions
virtually eliminate the need to create and change special tooling for each
new part or product by simply changing the software, not the hardware. |
Robots
A complete line of high-speed SCARA
and Cartesian robots for assembly and material handling tasks. Payloads
range from 6 to 55 pounds, and most models are available with optional
rating for installation in clean room environments. |
Linear
Modules
SmartAxis, SmartModules, and NanoStages are scalable linear motion modules
that can be combined into 15 standard configurations featuring precision
ground ball screw drive mechanisms that can handle payloads from 132
pounds (for one-axis mechanisms) to 32 pounds (for three-axis mechanisms). |
Controls
The AdeptWindows family of
automation controllers integrates robotics, motion control, machine
vision, force sensing, and manufacturing logic in a single control
platform compatible with Windows 95/98 & Windows NT. Adept motion
controllers can be configured to control other robots and custom
mechanisms, and are standard on a variety of systems from OEMs. |
Vision
Adept offers two vision products. AdeptVision AVI is an integrated machine
vision system for measurement, quality control, and machine guidance
applications. It is fully integrated into Adept’s software architecture.
HexSight by Adept Technology is a PC-based vision software library for
OEMs developing their own applications and controller systems. Both vision
products feature Adept’s ObjectFinder tool, for best in class precision
and reliability in machine guidance applications.

intelligent conveyance system for feeding small parts in random
orientation, size, shape, and bulk. Adept's FlexFeeder 250 eliminates the
