Radio Frequency Crystal Oscillators - rfXO

The rfXO family of Oscillators is an ASIC-driven crystal-based line of frequency control products. These rfXOs are available as standard Crystal Oscillators (XOs) or Voltage Controlled Crystal Oscillators (VCXOs) with frequencies from 600MHz to 1.25GHz. The RFXO family of products generates an output at the frequency of operation (fo) with low jitter and phase noise in the frequency domain. Low clock jitter is essential to achieve a low bit error rate in optical data communications and also allows for full use of the allotted bandwidth. This makes the rfXO ideally suited for the next generation of low jitter clocks and data streams for SONET/SDH applications.
