ARSAPE
Miniature DC-Stepper Motors range in size from 8-15mm in diameter with
20-24 full steps per revolution. DC steppers can be driven open loop
eliminating the need for bulky encoders. The ARSAPE stepper motor
is a 2-phase permanent magnet stepper motor. ARSAPE offers the
widest array of gearing, from planetary to zero-backlash spur, available
in the industry. For applications that require redundant feedback ARSAPE
offers a full line of magnetic encoders. ARSAPE has also designed a
complete line-up of drive electronics including a microstepping drive for
smooth performance.
ARSAPE 2-phase stepper motors feature:
- Compact and lightweight, ranging from
8mm-15mm in outer diameter and weighing as little as 3.3 grams.
- High speed, low current operation.
Producing useable torque at speeds as high as 36,000 rpm!
- Precise open-loop operation
- Available with a wide range of precision
planetary, spur, hybrid and zero backlash gearboxes
- Drive electronics available
- Quadrature encoder feedback available
from 8 to 15mm diameter
- Available in a wide variety of
semi-standard and custom configurations including custom shafts, high
precision lead screws, cabling and connectors, vacuum compatible, and
extreme low temperature executions.

FTB
Thin Profile DC-Micromotors and Gearheads. Commonly known as pancake or
flat motors. With thickness ranging from 5-8mm these cost effective brush
type DC motors fit into almost any thin profile drive package. They are
available with high precision spur gearheads with ratios up to 4629:1. The
commutation system can be lifetime optimized depending on the operating
conditions. Custom shaft ends, pinions, lead screws, cabling and
connectors are available.
FTB thin profile DC micromotors feature:
- Small size, light weight, from 5mm thick
and 6.5 grams in weight
- Low inertia, ironless rotor coil with
absolutely no cogging means low starting voltages and very low current
consumption
- Precision gearheads available with
ratios from 7:1 to 4629:1
- Available in a wide variety of
semi-standard and custom configurations including custom shafts,
cabling and connectors, high/low temperature, and vacuum executions
