Uson has pioneered modern leak detection technology for four decades and is widely recognized as the industry leader in leak testing. Uson was founded in 1963 with an initial focus on marketing a leak detector developed in conjunction with the US Naval Research Laboratories. Eventually, the US Navy as well as US Air Force purchased large quantities of this tester. As the aerospace industry began to flourish, Uson signed a number of purchase agreements with NASA. Over the past 4 decades, Uson has installed over 20,000 testers worldwide. Today, Uson users are found in a variety of industries including including automotive, medical, packaging, appliance, industrial and many others.
