The Intervene family of
hydrophpbic filtration devices is
engineered to support applications that require the retention of
biological fluids while allowing gas exchange. Versapor® R, an acrylic
copolymer membrane, features our patented Repel™ technology. Pallflex® media exhibit a wide range
of airflow, water intrusion pressure, and titer reduction capabilities.
PTFE membrane features superior flow rate characteristics and the highest
degree of hydrophobicity.
Medical filtration
devices incorporate membranes that range from our Intervene 4 mm filter with 0.1 cm2
effective filtration area (EFA), to our Intervene 1500 capsule filters,
with 1500 cm2 of EFA. Intervene filter devices are manufactured
with materials that pass USP Class VI-121 °C Plastic and Cytotoxcity
tests.

| Liquid Filtration Devices

Supor® membrane, the market's original
hydrophilic polyethersulfone membrane, serves as the cornerstone of the
Gardian product line. Created and developed by filtration experts, Supor
membrane exhibits excellent particle retention coupled with superior flow
rates and throughput. We've incorporated Supor membrane, in a variety of
pore sizes, into a wide range of Gardian products, from specialty filters
for micro-infusion to large volume capsules for batch pharmaceutical
filtration.
Gardian filter devices are manufactured solely with materials that pass
USP Class VI-121 °C plastic tests and requirements for cytotoxicity and
hemolysis. In addition, Supor membrane demonstrates low drug binding,
proven with over 55 different drugs. With a wide selection of membrane,
housing and connector combinations, Pall Medical is uniquely qualified to
provide you with the ideal filtration device for any fluid filtration
application.

Our
dispensing pin and HydroVent reconstitution filter protect pharmacists
from hazardous drug exposure while facilitating quick turnaround times for
pharmaceutical compounding. The Gardian 25 mm filter with
hydrophobic/hydrophilic membrane is the ideal filtration solution for
ophthalmic phaco equipment. Leukocyte reducing filtration products for
cardiovascular surgery blunt the inflammatory response which can lead to
costly patient complications.
