S4J Manufacturing Services, Inc., established in 1964, is a second generation, family owned company specializing in the production of ultra precision components, reusable Luer Lock connectors, Quick Connects, and miscellaneous adaptors. Our customers, over 1000 companies worldwide, are typically Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) of medical equipment and devices for biomedical and laboratory applications.

All S4J Luer Fittings are manufactured to ISO 594/1,2 the international standard for Luer Tapered components. Products are pressure tested at 45 PSI at various stages of the manufacturing process, as well as at final inspection.

Quick Connects

Couplers

The S4J miniature series of Quick Connects are comprised of plugs and couplers. The plug end is pushed into the coupler until the locking balls are engaged. To disconnect, simply pull back on the knurled collar. The miniature series is designed to accommodate .100 inch I.D. (unless otherwise restricted, as with a small barb). Products are pressure tested at 45 PSI.

Custom Manufacturing

All S4J products are manufactured and finished in house which allows us to control quality and lead time. All designs for custom products are treated as confidential.

"Special is standard at S4J!" Many manufacturing efforts are dedicated to non-stock, custom items. However, many of these custom items make use of the same components or tooling used in S4J's proprietary product line. This enables S4J to produce economically -- with the savings passed on to the customer.
