CII has a state-of-the-art
computerized pad imprinting equipment and operates in a 20,000 sf
environmentally-controlled production facility. |
After more than 15 years of experience in
mastering the techniques of transfer pad imprinting, CII is unrivaled in its
level of expertise and has developed many proprietary techniques to achieve
superior imprinting (i.e.- quality of image, adhesion of medical grade inks to
difficult plastic substrates, etc.) on virtually any medical device –
regardless of size, substrate or surface irregularity.
Plasma gas pretreatment on site, specialty
medical grade inks and experienced ingenuity enable CII to print on such
"unprintable" substrates as Silicone, Polyurethane, PP, PE, and Delrin.
Automated equipment, such as CII's newest customized machine, the MicroPrint MS
500, – which features automatic pad cleaning between cycles – ensures
the most precise, consistent markings possible on difficult medical device
components such as catheters.
By developing new tools, designing new equipment and devising innovative
imprinting techniques, CII is actively advancing the technology of medical
device imprinting. For instance, technicians at CII and MicroPrint
addressed common transfer pad imprinting challenges, while increasing production
efficiency and speed, by specially configuring CII's MS 500 . As a
direct result, catheter OEMs can now expect the highest degree of precision and
crispness in the imprinted image, guaranteed consistency between job lots,
quicker turnaround times and higher yields.
CII's niche volume market ranges from the prototype stage of new product
development through full production runs into the millions. Working with
design engineers at the embryonic stages of a new product, CII can provide a
full range of creative problem solving techniques. Many solutions have
resulted in significant value-added opportunities for customers.
In accordance with ISO requirements, CII maintains quality systems throughout
the production process to ensure consistency of handling, lot control integrity,
product traceability and quality system maintenance. Detailed documentation and
seasoned QC professionals ensure strict compliance to customer specifications
and tolerances.
