| Accurate
Injection Molds was founded in 1988 to meet the need for
high-quality quick turnaround aluminum tooling. Since our inception, our
goal has been to provide the fastest lead times in the industry without
sacrificing quality, so that we may aid our customers in bringing their
product to market before the competition. A few years later, Accurate
partnered with a specialist in the molding industry to form AIM
Plastics. Today, Accurate Injection Molds coupled with AIM Plastics,
caters to the tooling and molding needs of the medical, automotive,
computer, electronics, and consumer goods industries. Our average
lead-time from tooling kick-off to parts in hand is 3.5 weeks and we
have maintained a 100% on-time delivery record since our inception.
PROTOTYPE
TOOLING
In order to meet our
aggressive delivery commitments, our tool shop is equipped with
state-of-the-art equipment & technology. Our facility is designed
with separate bay areas allowing our mold makers to give each project
the total concentration it deserves. In addition to their standard
equipment, every mold maker has their own mobile CAD station and all
computers throughout the shop are networked allowing for efficient
transfer of data.
Our journeymen mold makers are proficient in all aspects of mold
construction allowing us to "single source" a job to one
individual. Upon kick-off, the tool is constructed using either CAD data
or part prints. The mold maker generates tool paths, runs the CNC's,
fabricates electrodes and operates the EDM machines. They are also on
hand to address any questions or concerns while the mold sampling
occurs. Our system of single sourcing jobs has allowed us to eliminate
bottlenecks that might occur in a more traditional environment. Our
CAD/CAM software consists of:

CUSTOM
MOLDING
Quality
and consistency are the foundation that AIM Plastics has built
its reputation on. In addition to sample runs, AIM is capable of
producing upwards of a quarter of a million pieces off of many aluminum
tools. With press sizes ranging from 22 ton to 350 ton, we are able to
produce an array of different part sizes and configurations. AIM
utilizes a quick-change mold system that allows our molders to perform
multiple set-ups in a short time period. This timesavings results in a
lower bottom line for our customers. We also offer several molding and
post molding operations such as insert and over molding, pad printing
and light assembly.
