- Assembly Automation Equipment
There are many factors for determining assembly automation equipment
justification and implementation. There are dominant factors that seem
to be common among the majority of McClellan's clients, yet each of
McClellan's Clients are influenced by variables that make each project
unique.

Design
McClellan's engineers employ the latest analysis techniques to solve
even the toughest design problems quickly and efficiently.
- Research And Development Engineering
Through research, 3D solids design, prototyping, and data analysis,
McClellan will develop the Clients manufacturing process from
prototyping to production.
- Automated Equipment Fabrication and
Assembly
McClellan's highly skilled machinists run an in-house machine shop to
handle most any fabrication requirements. McClellan's facility has
10,000 sq. ft. of "clean space" suitable for the manufacture
and assembly of medical grade products.

- Machine Vision Systems Integration
In addition to providing a vision system on the client’s custom
automation system order, McClellan is also available to integrate
machine vision systems on existing machinery, or start by providing a
table top system to be used to test, learn, develop, or prove your
application.
- Rotary Tables, Rotary Index Tables
and Linear Conveyor Systems
Accomplishing multiple assembly steps and processes with throughput
rates of just a few parts per minute (ppm) to several hundred ppm.
McClellan offers stand-alone and fully integrated systems.
- Web Handling Systems
Capable of converting raw material in reel form or card form to
multipad diagnostic assays. Diagnostics Clients will benefit from
McClellan's ability to deliver a complete web handling solution
including reagent dispensing, laminating, climate control enclosures,
precision punch/die design, bar coding, lot tracking and control.
McClellan's World Class assay assembly systems achieve pad placement
tolerances that push the envelope of the technology.
- Pumping Systems
McClellan's engineers will use their extensive fluidics experience
with a wide variety of pumps to solve the Client's difficult pumping
problem. Pumping solutions range from low viscosity fluids like water
using standard pumping systems, to up to 300,000 cps., with custom
designed pumps. McClellan has integrated and installed positive
displacement pumps that dispense volumes ranging from liters to nano
liters with accuracy of 0.1% of total volume.
