AK offers a full line of single screw extruders ranging from 3/4 to 10 inch.  Anything from stand alone extruders to complete systems including downstream and upsteam equipment fully integrated or not.  Basically, anything the customer wants!

Process Development - AK has an extrusion lab with a high torque 3 ¹/₂ inch water cooled extruder and a 1 ¹/₂ inch air cooled extruder.  Both extruders are fully instrumented with high speed computerized data acquisition systems.  A complete selection of screws allows us to maximize screw performance for your specific material and application.   

Product Development - AK is equipped with a laboratory tubing system that includes non-contact vacuum sizing and co-extrusion capabilities along with the latest in ID/OD/WALL measurement technology. This line is available for new product development as well as existing process enhancements.
