World Class Engineering and Injection Molding Services

MANUFACTURING

Classic Industries has multiple manufacturing facilities. We currently operate 60 plus injection molding presses on a 24 hour 7 day schedule. Each facility is capable of injection molding and various operations. A centralized process monitoring system monitors up to 32 parameters for every cycle during the production run.  The results are consistently producing quality parts at the lowest total cost.

All utilities for each facility are located beneath the molding floor. Resin is supplied to each press from a central loading area located outside the production floors. An external regrind return system is used to remove all reground material from the production floor so that it may be disposed of properly. Secondary operations such as insert molding or pad printing services are available when necessary.

TOOLING AND AUTOMATION

Classic Industries, Inc. has tool partner to service the many needs of our customers. We have strength in aluminum tooling (three to six weeks lead time) pre-production tooling (four to eight weeks lead time), high speed tooling (cycle times of four to twelve seconds), stack molds, unwinding tools, repairs and modifications, etc.

A mold maintenance program in which the goal is to have all the tools production-ready within twenty-four hours after the end of the tools previous run. At the end of each use, the tool is entirely disassembled, cleaned and rebuilt with the exception of the hot manifolds.
The tool is then placed into an environmentally controlled storage area until its next production run.

ENGINEERING

Classic Industries' Engineering Department Consists of Plastic engineers, mechanical and chemical engineers, certified tool makers and
production engineers. This diversity of experience gives us the ability to analyze new or existing concepts from all perspectives; functionality, plastics flow, manufacturability and total cost. This support begins well before the tool is created and continues throughout the life of the tool. Our technologies in-house include some of the most advanced technologies available.
